Core Principles

Our 7 digital core principles blogs are now all live. These principles are the foundation for best practice in Digital Teaching, Learning, and Assessment. The blog posts examine and outline what our principles are and how to apply them in LearnZone and Microsoft Teams

Microsoft 365 Updates

Microsoft have rolled out updates to Office 365, Stream and Teams find out more in our blog post here.


Top Tip

Did you know you can share your PowerPoint in Teams directly from PowerPoint itself (Online or the Microsoft 365 Desktop Version) to find out more check out our blog post.


What’s Happening

During the autumn term, the Digital Learning Team have been working collaboratively across the curriculum to create more immersive digital resources that we would like to share to raise awareness of the technologies we can provide.

Thinglink 360 VR tours and videos

Thinglink’s 360 VR tours and videos provide the tools to create some truly immersive resources. The 360 elements can be explored using VR headsets, mobile devices, or a PC, it provides a flexible resource that can be use within the classroom or as independent study. Why not take a look at what we have produced so far with Motorsport, Travel and Tourism and Public Services?

THE RISING TIDE

Working with Public Services and the Digital T-Level team running our Rising Tide cyber security lesson. Using a range of digital technologies this immersive active learning experience pits teams of 2 against each other in a race against time to crack the other team’s password.

If you would like to arrange for the team to deliver this session with your learners or you and your team would like to have a go yourselves don’t hesitate to get in touch.
