ThingLink 360 Tour of the December Art Exhibition

If you missed the Creative Art exhibition in the Hub before Christmas or would like to revisit it, now you can in our interactive 360 virtual tour! We visited the exhibit to create an immersive 360 tour with ThingLink that can be seen here.

If you have a 360 project you would like help with don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Turnitin Scheduled Maintenance!

We have been informed of some upcoming scheduled maintenance.

Turnitin will take a 4-hour maintenance window on Saturday 27 January from 4:30pm8:30pm GMT.

The Jisc Discovery Tool

We launched the Jisc Discovery Tool for students as a part of PPD earlier this year and encourage staff to continue to promote the tool with their learners. Find out more in our blog post.

Introducing Bing AI and Copilot

Now you have heard of and hopefully used ChatGPT, but have you heard of Bing AI? Bing is not just a search engine, but an intelligent assistant from Microsoft working in integration on their 365 apps with Copilot.

This month’s prompt is a little different to usual, we won’t be offering a full distinct prompt to copy and paste but more of an idea of how you could use Bing’s AI image designer.

What’s Happening

Anatomy VR session with Access to HE

At the start of December, we ran another successful VR session with the Access Biology class. The students got to use our 3D Organon anatomy app on the VR headsets and iPads for a truly immersive lesson that they all enjoyed.
