Why the Jisc Discovery Tool?
From the Digital Experience Insights Surveys 2022-23, we pinpointed digital skills (Theme 4) as a development area. Our mission? Equip our students with robust digital skills for the future. So, we’ve teamed up with Jisc’s Building Digital Capabilities Service to bring the Discovery Tool to our community.
What’s the Jisc Discovery Tool all about?
- Discover their strengths: Students delve deep into areas like digital proficiency and productivity; information, data and media literacies and digital creation; problem solving and innovation and more.
- Personalised feedback: Students receive personalised reports highlighting strengths and improvement areas.
- Quality resources: Students are guided to quality, sector-specific resources to develop their capabilities.
- Progress tracking: Students can re-assess and see their digital capabilities unfold.
