Fast Feedback Tracking System goes out to the wider community

The fast feedback tracking system, that has been developed by Loughborough College with the help of Mentor – Martin Hawskey is still being tested by a few tutors, but the code and the outputs of the project have been released to the wider community via Martin’s Blog post – http://mashe.hawksey.info/2012/05/hacking-stuff-together-with-google-spreadsheets-fast-tracking-student-feedback-system/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=jisccetis it is hoped that there will be other providers out there that may be interested in this area of work, and will take the code and documents, and hopefully improve on it – so that the project can move forwards – which would be of huge benefit to the wider community as well as being of benefit to Loughborough College. What this project has shown is the enormous power and potential that Google Apps offers to an organisation – if there is a willingness to ‘look under the bonnet’.

Other possible uses could be creating simple portfolio systems, creating tracking mechanisms for other programs, creating a report writing systems that could go out to parents or employers etc.

The next stages in the project for the college are finishing the testing of the system, then looking strategically as to how this is rolled out wider.
