These prompts are for students to use, you should promote them with your learners. They can customise the prompts to help them with their research including finding useful information, reliable websites and academic articles then summarising arguments and evidence that has been found.
We build our prompts using the PREPARE framework as a guide. To use the prompt below replace the text in [bold] with information relevant to you. Once happy, copy and paste it into Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar.

Prompt One:
I am a student on [insert level/course]. Please find and list three reliable websites that will provide useful information for me on [insert topic/subject]. Provide the name, author, and URL for each website. Thank you.
Prompt Two:
I am a student on [insert level/course]. Please find and list three academic articles that will support my research on [insert topic/subject]. Provide the title, author, journal, and abstract for each article. Thank you.
Follow-up prompt:
Please summarise the main arguments and evidence of the following article [insert Title, Author, Journal, Date]. Thank you.
