Adobe Spark Page – (Formerly Adobe Slate)

Description

Adobe Spark Page (Formerly Adobe Slate) lets you create really nice looking webpages using a variety of imagery and text. It restricts the user to a number of themes which then manages their content for them – i.e the user cannot divert away from the theme. This means that someone with low level design skills can still create a really nice looking webpage/presentation without these skills and also without developer skills.

Impact On Learners

The eLearning team shared the Adobe Spark Page app with me during a development session and an interesting alternative to PowerPoint. I actually used the app instead of PowerPoint during a job interview to keep the presentation fresh and interesting. I think that the app will be ideal to use in a classroom as it enables the students to create simple and high quality presentations efficiently to feedback their understanding of a particular subject. – Gina Harper

The eLearning Rating

As mentioned in the description, we love this app as an alternative to PowerPoint. This is more likely to be used if a student is presenting their work, unlike Adobe Spark Video. The ease of use and helpful restrictions make Spark Page exceptionally quick to create high quality, well designed content. Like the other Adobe apps, its main drawback is that it is only available on IOS (Apple) devices at the moment.4 Stars-02
