Happy Birthday Apple App store!
Yes it may seem hard to fathom that the app store is soon to be celebrating a fifth birthday. After launching in July 2008, the App Store has seen 50 billion apps downloaded by Apple users.
As a birthday treat on the 10th of July 2013, Apple has deigned to give its faithful hoardes a little present: some free apps.
According to Techradar.com, Infinity Blade II, Badland, Where’s My Water?, Superbrothers: Sword and Sorcery EP and Tiny Wings are among the “game-flavoured bargains”, alongside Traktor DJ, diary-keeping Day One, photo-text-overlay app Over and Barefoot Atlas among the non-game offerings.
