Staff at Loughborough college are getting involved in Safer Internet Day on the 11th of February. This is a national day aimed at students to promote awareness of the safer use of the Internet, social media and online platforms.
Throughout the day there will be plenty of opportunities for students to get involved;
- There will be Safer Internet tutorials with Learning coaches
- Staff from the eLearning teams and student development will be on hand between 10 am and 2pm in B block and A block library area for eSafety drop-ins
- Student development will be providing follow up support and guidance after the day
- An online eSafety resource will be LIVE on Learnzone for students to work through
- There will be information, tips and guides available online via the Learnzone eSafety course and on awareness boards in B block
- A competition will be held in which the winners, drawn out of a hat, will receive £10 vouchers!
We hope that you all spread the word to all students and promote the Safer Internet Day message!
