We are proud to present our new Digital Essentials pathway!

Designed to provide a foundational understanding of the digital devices, platforms and applications used throughout the institution, as well as key principles of digital accessibility, AI, cybersecurity, and safe, responsible internet use.

All eight courses within this pathway have been produced to ensure a consistent and robust baseline of digital proficiency for everyone across the organisation.

Rollover

This year, we will be performing essential maintenance on Teams sites and LearnZone in order to align with the needs of the new wider organisation and cybersecurity protocols.

This will take place during CPD week between Wednesday 2nd to Friday 4th July to minimise disruption to teaching.

Teams Rollover

This year, all sites that have been used for teaching will automatically be archived. You and your learners will still be able to access the sites and resources in read-only mode, or restore them if needed.

We strongly advise you not to start creating new Teams sites for the next academic year, as the way they are created is changing.

More information about Teams rollover will be provided over the coming weeks, with training available during the CPD week.

Both HE and FE platforms will be unavailable for three full days, so ensure to plan accordingly.

This year, the rollover is taking slightly longer due to a migration to cloud-based services, allowing for a better continuity of service for all staff and students for the future.
