Listed below are the college’s main platforms that are approved and supported by us.
Microsoft 365 is our cloud-based suite of apps, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive, Forms and much more.
Microsoft Teams is used for online teaching and learning, meetings and calls.
LearnZone (FE and HE) are our LMS for learners currently studying in Further and Higher Education.
StaffZone is our LMS for staff training, support and guidance on resources and programs at the college.

There are several technologies that are popular across college and can be used in your teaching, learning and/or assessment.* Below are the ones we recommend.
Create interactive presentations and activities. Featuring over 20 question types and activities.
Create gamified quizzes and lessons, utilising 18 different question types.
A design tool to create posters, presentations, infographics, videos, and more.
Use YouTube or your own videos, and make them interactive by adding questions and notes.
Microsoft Copilot is a chat-based generative AI tool used to create a host of different content.
Gemini is a chat-based generative AI tool used to create a host of different content.
Upload your sources, and use AI to create teaching resources, summaries, activities, and study materials.
Make visual media interactive with hotspot tags including standard and 360° images and videos.
Use immersive AI role-play to practise real-world scenarios, build soft skills, and receive personalised feedback.
AI.loucoll is our very own AI prompt tool to easily create TLA activities resources and planning documents.

Third-party Authorised Apps
Additionally, you are free to use the following authorised third-party apps.*
*For any third-party apps use only free accounts unless prior agreed with Digital Learning. You must not upload student or business sensitive data to these apps. Do not sign up for additional trials. Please check with the Digital Learning Team before using any other third-party technologies and tools online or otherwise. All paid-for applications need to be approved by the Head of Digital Learning and Libraries and the Executive Director of IT and Transformational Change Programmes.
