Glossary #31 – Gamification

 

Gamification: This is the process of transforming your e-learning content or even hard copy content into an interactive game-based format.

If done well,  quizzes and games can transform the level of engagement with the learner by delivering the information in a unique way, as no two topics or even games need to be the same. Most will include standard gaming elements like rewards, levels, titles, an assessment element (summative/formative) and positive feedback.
