IP address
An Internet Protocol address (IP address) is a numerical label assigned to each device (e.g. computer, printer, etc.) participating in a computer network that uses the Internet for communication.
An IP address is unique to each device on a single network- these are useful when dealing with faulty computers, broken networks and dealing with safeguarding issues.
