New: 1-to-1 Digital Learning Coaching
We’re excited to launch Digital Learning Coaching as part of our training provision. These are structured 1-to-1 coaching sessions for teaching and business support staff who have completed digital training but would benefit from additional, tailored support. Sessions are practical, role-focused, and centred around clear aims and outcomes, helping you build confidence, improve efficiency, and make better use of digital tools in your day-to-day work.
Our range of online pathways can be found here: SZ: Digital Learning Pathways.

Top Tips and Resources
Recording a PowerPoint presentation
Recording your PowerPoint presentation is a great way to create engaging learning resources for students.
Whether you’re preparing asynchronous lessons, flipped classroom content, or revision materials, PowerPoint has built-in recording tools that make it easy to record, annotate, preview, and export a video of your presentation. Learn more in our blog.
Online CPD
Digital Essentials
Earlier this academic year, we launched our new Digital Essentials pathway!
Designed to provide a foundational understanding of the digital devices, platforms and applications used throughout the institution, as well as key principles of digital accessibility, AI, cybersecurity, and safe, responsible internet use.
All nine courses within this pathway have been produced to ensure a consistent and robust baseline of digital proficiency for everyone across the organisation. All new staff must complete this, and we highly recommend that any staff who are not digitally confident do so as well.
Discover Pathway
The Discover Pathway is now available for all curriculum staff, offering a structured programme to build digital literacy and enhance pedagogical practice. Designed as a foundation for new colleagues and a development opportunity for existing staff, it introduces core learning platforms, best practices for online teaching, digital polling and assessment tools, including Turnitin.
A key feature is the PICRAT framework, which helps evaluate the impact of digital tools on learning and engagement. Complete the full course or apply prior training to earn certification. Start your Discover journey today!
