Options for Creating Video Evidence

Creating evidence for the above CPD Pathways can be done using several widely available tools revealed below.

Microsoft Stream

Screenshots work great, but sometimes a quick how-to video can create a more powerful message. Using Microsoft Stream, you can create short screen recordings of up to 15 minutes, including your camera and microphone, without any additional software. Microsoft Stream is a simple and easy tool for you to create basic videos including screen demonstrations to provide a powerful visual element to your evidence.

Voice-Over PowerPoint

You can record your PowerPoint presentation or a single slide and capture voice, ink gestures, and your video presence. When completed, it’s like any other presentation. You can play it for your audience in a Slide Show or you can save the presentation as a video file. Recording audio and video narrations and annotations onto your slides is a simple and easy way to present your evidence.

Flipgrip Shorts

Flipgrid users can access Shorts, the application that has all the features of the new Flipgrid camera, to create unique videos to share in Flipgrid and beyond. Flipgrid Shorts is an incredible tool that allows you to present your evidence and information in interesting ways. You can easily share videos or download them for inclusion on other platforms.

Microsoft Sway

Sway is an easy-to-use digital storytelling app for creating interactive reports, presentations, personal stories, and more. Its built-in design engine helps you create professional designs in minutes. With Sway, your images, text, videos, and other multimedia all flow together in a way that enhances your story. Sway is an excellent choice to enable you to present your evidence in a structured way.
