Loughborough College Sport celebrates Outstanding grade in 2013 Ofsted report
Congratulations to all Loughborough College staff for the outcome of the 2013 Ofsted report in which two Outstanding grades were achieved in the sports department. Learning technology gets a much welcome mention within the report which noted that within the sports department “teachers use technology very effectively to promote learners’ independent study. Learners use the high quality learning materials and links to further learning and research available on ‘LearnZone’ extensively.”
The inspectors also added that “trainers, learners and assessors used information and learning technology well to prepare for workshops and reviews. Learners use information held on ‘LearnZone’ well to reinforce their understanding such as factors affecting performance.”
It is refreshing to know that our work is being recognised and again, we would like to say a massive well done to all staff!
