When you are browsing the internet, rather than having multiple windows open which can be confusing you can use ‘tabs’ instead. Tabs run along the top of your browser (eg Internet Explorer/Firefox) and enable you to see what you have open and it gives you the ability to flick between these pages easier than with windows.
