Mahara<\/a>\u00a0is an open source\u00a0student centred e-portfolio.\u00a0 It is an environment where students can collect, reflect on and share achievements and developments in a space they can control.\u00a0 It also offers the opportunity for social networking, through forums, blogs and groups\u00a0and formal assessment submission of student work if required.<\/p>\n

The table below shows some potential uses of this technology in both Further Education (FE) and Higher Education (HE). \u00a0Below this are videos which demonstrate how this technology could be used in teaching and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
