What is Bodyswaps?<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n![\"Bodyswaps](\"https:\/\/blogs.loucoll.ac.uk\/learningtechnology\/files\/2026\/02\/Bodyswaps.jpeg\")
<\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nBodyswaps<\/a> is an immersive learning platform that uses virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI) to help users develop soft skills like communication and interpersonal skills in a safe, interactive environment. By placing learners in realistic scenarios, such as interviews, presentations, or difficult conversations, Bodyswaps allows them to practise, reflect, and improve their performance through experiential learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\nCheck out the Bodyswaps Training Library<\/a> for more information on the Modules, Learner Pathways, and AI Roleplays available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\nAccess<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\nBodyswaps can be accessed on VR (Meta Quest<\/a>), Mobile (Android<\/a>\/iOS<\/a>), and Desktop (Windows<\/a>\/macOS<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\nOn college PCs and laptops, Bodyswaps can be installed via the Software Center<\/strong>. Simply search for “Software Center” in the taskbar, then select Bodyswaps from the list of available applications. The app will download and install automatically.<\/p>\n\n\n\nTeachers can contact the Digital Learning<\/a> team to request specific modules or learning pathways for their students.<\/p>\n\n\n\nHow it works<\/strong>: <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n\n- The Digital Learning team creates a class in Bodyswaps<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Selected modules or pathways are assigned to the class<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- A self-enrolment link is provided to the teacher to share with their students<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Students use the link to join the class and generate an access code when needed<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Students can then use the code to access and complete the assigned content through the app<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
We can also provide insights into student completion by giving the teachers access to the Bodyswaps admin portal, allowing them to monitor their class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
