Your Passport is an exciting new initiative developed by the eLearning team at Loughborough College to help our students achieve their chosen destination and explore other options that are open to them.
These enrichment, employment and pastoral (EEP) activities are an integral part of the 16 -19 study programme and are available from September 2015.
Your Passport is a series of online modules, accessed from LearnZone, which will help students prepare for work, higher education, apprenticeships, work placements and volunteering. A key part of progression to a chosen destination is also about developing digital capabilities and ensuring that the students are safe online, including the Prevent agenda which are all covered in detail in the ‘Be Safe’ module.
All modules have a range of text, audio and visual information and activities to engage and challenge learners at Levels 1-3 who are awarded a range of stamps (badges) for each completed activity. In the first week of term, there were over 31 thousand views of the eSafety topic and overall in the term to date – over 10 thousand hours of student activities being completed and awarded stamps.
