The fast feedback tracking system is ready for testing

After months of hard work, especially by Martin Hawksey who has done all of the behind the scenes programming, the fast feedback tracking system is finally ready to be trialled with 2 tutors at the college. The end product looks (in my opinion) very professional and clean, the next stages are now to test this with a couple of tutors and their students, before rolling this out on a wider scale next academic year, Ideally we would have started tested this sooner so that we could have run a series of gradually enlarging tests – but the various issues that this project threw up which we have had to work through, prevented this from happening. We will be testing with the 2 tutors this week, unfortunately after this, there is no more planned work being submitted, so will then have to wait until next academic year to take the testing and implementation to a wider level.

To help a tutor to get set up a couple of YouTube videos have been created:

The first shows the tutor how to set up the system for the first time.

Setting up the fast feedback tracking system

The second shows them how they enter grades and feedback and then release these to the learners.

Once the initial tests have been made with the 2 tutors – further videos will be created to provide context to the whole project.
