FESTIVE TREAT FROM COLLEGE STUDENTS THIS SUNDAY

    December 7th, 2012

HOSPITALITY students from Loughborough College will be spreading festive cheer at Sunday’s market in the town centre, fresh from winning a civic seal of approval last week.

The College’s stall will be tempting visitors with delicious Christmas puddings and chocolate truffles from 10am to 2pm.

If feedback from last week’s Continental Market held in the same location is anything to go by, Sunday is too good to miss.

Hospitality team leader Darren Creed said: “One of the keenest visitors was the Mayor of Charnwood Coun Diane Wise who enjoyed what she tasted so much, she immediately said she’d be making a point of visiting our Futures Restaurant as soon as possible.”

Doing the honours for the College were chef trainer Mel Maltby along with students Nicole Simpson and Daniela Hubickova.

Darren added: “Do come along and support our stall on Sunday in Loughborough town centre, if you possibly can. We will be featuring our own home-made recipe – a fantastic Christmas pudding for £2.50 to serve four.”
