Loughborough College has joined with two leading clubs to give people passionate about sport a unique opportunity to study at Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium and The City Ground in Nottingham.
The College’s partnership with Pride Park Stadium and with Nottingham Forest Football Club means that for the first time ever people living in Nottingham and Derby will be given the chance to boost their learning at the counties’ top sporting venues.
Helen Van Aardt, Sport Curriculum Manager at Loughborough College said: “If you love sport and you live in the area you have the chance to benefit from the high quality provision offered by the Stadium, the Club and the College right on your doorstep in a fantastic location.
“These A-level equivalent courses lead to qualifications that not only develop employability skills but can also help students move into higher level study.”
Natalie Howson, Sales Manager at Pride Park Stadium said: “This new partnership is an exciting time for us at Pride Park Stadium as students who are unable to travel to Loughborough College will not miss out on developing their careers. Through the relationship we have with the College, together we can create a positive contribution to our future generations.”
Charlotte Sanders, Sales and Marketing Manager, Azure Catering, at Nottingham Forest Football Club said: “We are really excited to welcome students from Loughborough College to The City Ground and offer our full support for this great course that is being held at such an iconic venue.”
Loughborough College will be delivering the Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Sport or Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport at Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium and Nottingham Forest Football Club’s city ground from September this year.
