COLLEGE hockey star Nicola White has an important date tomorrow (2030GMT) as Britain face Germany for a place in the Champions Trophy final.
The student and Flames ambassador was part of the team which ultimately demolished South Korea a 4-1 yesterday in Rosario, Argentina, to book their place in the last four of the competition – one of the landmark events on the road to London 2012.
Two goals from Alex Danson smoothed Britain’s path against a side now without a knockout victory in eight attempts. Georgie Twigg for the all-important first strike and Helen Richardson was also on the scoresheet as Britain established a 4-0 lead before Korea’s consolation.
