LOUGHBOROUGH College is currently bracing itself for one of the most exciting nights in our internal calendar. Temperatures may be ice cool outside, but the atmosphere will be red hot inside the Radmoor Sports Hall this evening for the fourth annual Star Awards, starting from 5pm.
Last year curriculum manager Angela Edwards (pictured) was awarded the prestigious College medal. For first news of who lands the biggest prizes this time around and some of the stories behind the achievements, see College News all next week.
Organiser Ann Bullock says: “We’re delighted with the numbers attending this evening and are all set for a very special evening in Olympic year. So many people have put a lot of work into Star Awards 2012 and we hope everyone enjoys the occasion tonight.”
